Subscriptions

ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS 

As a Registered Charity, the IPM is a non-profit making organisation which relies on income from subscriptions to support the work of Seminar Training, Exams, Events and other IPM activities. 
Trainees attending Regular Seminar Groups and working towards the IPM Diploma will not be required to pay the annual subscription until passing the Diploma Exam which is typically a minimum of two years (48 hours over six terms) after commencing training. The benefits of the IPM subscription do not apply to Introductory Term trainees.
Diplomates, AHP Diplomates, Members, AHP Members, Non-practising Members and Retired/Friend Members are expected to pay an annual subscription on 1st November each year.
Subscriptions rates are as below:
  • Members: £180
  • Diplomates: £120
  • Retired/Friend Subscribers: £80
  • Trainee Subscribers:  No charge

 

BENEFITS OF THE IPM SUBSCRIPTION

Trainee Subscribers (those attending Regular Seminar Groups and working towards the Diploma Examination receive:
  • full access to the IPM Subscriber area section of the website
  • copies of the IPM e-journal twice yearly
  • invitations to IPM events
  • IPM Newsletters and sector related news
  • free subscription during training

 

Diplomate (DIPM) Subscribers (those that have passed the Diploma Examination) receive all the above plus:
  • are allowed to use the Diploma qualification in the workplace and form part of the appraisal and recertification process
  • are invited to become Trustees and sit on Council
  • are able to vote on Trustee Proposals
  • are invited to dedicated training days
  • are invited to recertify every five years
  • see psychosexual cases under supervision
  • continue training to sit the Membership exam in order to practice independently
 
Member (MIPM) Subscribers (those that have passed the IPM Membership Examination) receive all the above plus:
  • are able to practice independently and promote their psychosexual clinic(s) on the specialist clinics section of the IPM website
  • attend free Peer Supervision Groups with fellow IPM Member peers
 
Friend/Retired Subscribers receive:
  • full access to the IPM Subscriber area section of the website
  • copies of the IPM e-journal twice yearly
  • invitations to IPM events
  • IPM Newsletters and sector related news
